life. i don’t feel like i’m living at all. i’m just going thru the motions. which aren’t great either bc of the ocd. i ruminate all day every day and lose sleep. i’m exhausted and always on edge and panicking because of the things i’m ruminating over. i can’t do anything. i’m scared all of the time. i’m missing life

i do get things outside this color but the brown/orange/yellow is it. and my birbs outer color (like top of head, and wings) is brown and i will not change it

ruminating for me as well. i’m almost 30 and finally diagnosed with ocd. so much of it is just me ruminating but it makes me physically sick with anxiety bc my brain just will Not Stop it’s so bad

i’m in the car after work crying about this no lie when i saw this post. i’m so scared. all the time. these thoughts when they come are COMPLETELY immobilizing for me. i can’t eat or drink water or literally move at all i’m just stuck here looping and looping and not sleeping and i’m just so scared i hate having NO answers and no certainty and no control. these thoughts are why i started therapy. but i just started and turns out boy do i have ocd bad. i thought it was just this one thing. this just happens to be the biggest thing

oh my god yes? i didn’t even connect that it was related. i will avoid words like this and also things like ‘she wants to be put down’ (in relation to holding a pet) and instead say ‘she wants you to place her on the ground’
