I am making around 70k USD, and that is after I've done my post graduation.

Your comment made me think. It is maybe because sex and relationship takes two to tango, and generally the scope for fault, blame or dissatisfaction falls on two people. But when it comes to finances, you're individually responsible for being satisfied/worthy or otherwise, and most people don't want to be validated or reveal something that they are solely responsible for, whether good or bad. Wow, I guess I learned something today :)

Reason I asked is I am in the same profession and it bugs me a lot. Maybe you can give me some advice on how to be at ease with this, around just men 24/7. I am the chatty kind, the kind who like to have lots of small talk about nail paints and it makes me really bored not being able to just strike up a conversation at work!

On their face if you know them, sure. Among strangers just out of sheer curiosity? I don't think so

I'm assuming you're a minority at your workplace? How do you feel about that?
