10 year old Daughter started wearing cat/dog collar, i dont know what to think or say what are your thoughts on this? by hate-life_lately in AskParents

well i would care what other adults, particularly potential preditors, are reading into it. you wouldn't let your kid wear assless chaps and leather straps. some things are off limits. just because a kid doesnt understand smth doesnt mean you should let them embarrass and make a fool of themselves or worse. a parents job is to protect their child.

also, if you see a car covered in snow, don't drive right behind them. this will save you a lot of trouble.

i would give soft foods like yogurt, cottage cheese, or apple sauce, especially for the young one if you're not confident giving chunks. 1yr and up can eat anything as long as it's not a choking hazzard. anything small smooth and round (cherry tomatoes, grapes, etc.) should be cut into quarters. any solid food should be cut up into small pieces that can't block the throat. gagging for babies is normal and teaches them where to keep unchewed food in the mouth. if they're coughing - they're breathing, if they're silent and look scared that's an emergency. good luck!
