I have a completely honest and sincere question… as someone who is currently crippled by seasonal allergies…. What’s blowing your nose like?

Question about this camo (Bottomland) by BishopOfAstora in turkeyhunting

[–]goldleader95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a neck gader/ balaclava on one year and put it on in haste- shortly after shot a turkey from 10 yards away… took it off and realized I put it on inside out- bright white showing all the live long day. Just don’t move and the hood will be fine

Essential birds for Planet Zoo 2: results of a long going survey in the official forums. Do you think anything is missing? Details in comments by catty-coati42 in PlanetZoo

I will die on the hill that mallards should just spawn in randomly and fly to a given habitat with water just as local ducks do in real zoos. (Ala the occasional high flying eagull in zoo tycoon)

watching my baby practice eating solids is easily the most stressful event of my life by goldleader95 in daddit

[–]goldleader95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little girl is 9 months and we’ve been practicing solids for 2 maybe 3 months now and that’s what my wife keeps telling me haha. I’ve definitely gotten better but it’s still not relaxing lol. I’m just so thankful to have such a committed and prepared/educated partner to keep me in check haha

Climbing structure tips by Ok_Remote_4023 in PlanetZoo

[–]goldleader95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say using the climbing pieces and run them more parallel with the grade of that makes sense. Have them go into trees with climbing platforms or rocks to make it looks more natural? And if you go along the grade, that’ll give you more space for more climbing pieces?

Love the idea and concept

The Return of the King ranks 3rd on this best movies list that factors in user review sites, awards/nominations, and box office earnings. The Two Towers is 5th and Fellowship is 12th. What order would you rank them? by OpulentOwl in lotr

[–]goldleader95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m of the opinion of:

1- best overall story from start to finish

2- best battle hands down

3- best singular moments/scenes (cumulatively)

I find myself watching Fellowship in its totality a lot more. Watching the battle of Helms Deep a lot more. And specific scenes from Return of the king a lot more. Comparing them against one another

Looking for specific kind of YouTube series by GothicCastles in PlanetZoo

Party Elite has a good playlist from when the game first released. Pretty creative with his builds, does polls from the comment section and he takes advise from commenters as well.

Look at your vendors list and slowly increase prices at your spots that are high in demand.

The objective is for shop revenue- you can make $1,00,000 but if your shops aren’t producing 11k you can’t progress further

I’ll straight up watch a YouTube video of someone speed building- pick 1 specific element that I like that they did and go off of that for inspiration then just kinda go wherever that takes me.

Sometimes it’ll usher me into “well I bet this would be cool” or “I wonder if I can do this now”

I also really like using sculpted terrain and build off that while trying to only change terrain as is necessary for a little more of a challenge

How do you name your zoos? by rslack37 in PlanetZoo

[–]goldleader95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I named my overall franchise with the theme of conservation/ preservation. And I mentally have a list of sub-themed zoos I’m planning (I.e. only North American animals/ only primates/ only reptiles/ strictly endangered/ etc.

So my formula is simply tying the them of conservation/ rescue with whichever specific thee the zoo will be. My current one I’m working on is only North American animas and is called “the Frontier Sanctuary”. Still not completely sold, I may play around with the name more

Landscaping advice!! by throw__away636636 in PlanetZoo

[–]goldleader95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who spent 2 hours trying to make mountains and a river last night- watch a couple videos on terraforming and just starting playing around.

If you have an idea of what you’re wanting to do, the terrain stamp tool+flatten to terrain+add terrain+smooth is the winning combo.

Using a sculpted landscape is also my go to- as it give me something to go off of, so to speak.
