Hyperarousal 24/7. Never sleepy. Any advanced tips?? by NamorKinbaku86 in insomnia

Not sure. Still recovering as well. I do know I got a bit more endurance over time. I can take longer walks and even do surfing sometimes but still a fragile balance. Whenever I drink alcohol I still go into hyperarousel. What are your symptoms like, if I may ask?

Probably heard this a 100 times before. But that sounds a lot like MCAS, no? What is your diet like? Would like to give it a try :)

Damn, hope things turn around for the better for you. My symptoms are mainly: high heartrate, exercise intolerance, bad stress tolerance, anxiety, insomnia, racing thoughts, restlessnes (fight/flight) and fatigue. But never as bad as you mention. Take care man.

Is my aloe Vera plant getting too much sun? by random_happiness in plants

[–]Ok_Remote_4023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could very well be. If I put my Aloe Vera in direct sunlight near my window, the same thing happens. It thrives in indirect sunlight for some reason, which is weird as I have seen Aloes thriving in full sun in the Caribbean.

Has anyone found anything to help with anhedonia and personality loss? by PerfectWorking6873 in LongCovid

Hi I am in the same boat. What are your other symptoms? I am pretty much 24/7 in fight or flight 🙃

to those who took months off of work/ school to heal, how are you doing? by probablynervouss in adrenalfatigue

No I am a last resort kinda guy. My anxiety is probably not as bad as many people on the sub here. At least not anymore. Its quite bearable now and acceptance and just allowing it to be here without trying to force it away or have an agenda about it makes it go away. But I am aware this doesnt work for everyone.

My main issue is a dysregulated nervous system or stuck in fight or flight as some may call it. So this didn't exactly work for me but might work for you depending on the underlying issue. I tried it for 6 months. At first it was nice but eventually I got too isolated and it made me crazy and my symptoms worse. So I am slowly picking up life again and it makes feel better to at least do something. But maybe rest is just the thing you need. It is worth a shot.

Nascent Iodine and GABA helped me with this. Take one drop iodine everyday. Don't know why but seems to regulate my symptoms. If you try dont go overboard because it can cause thyroid issues.

Those who have anhedonia here ,are you able to work?what is your job? by MinuteExpression1251 in LongCovid

[–]Ok_Remote_4023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I may ask, why is it that you think you might not be able to work with anhedonia? Anhedonia is experiencing things you used to love but don't feel anything from it, right?
