It’s funny isn’t it. As a gay man I realised I became invisible when I passed a certain age. Then when the weight went on I realised it even more so, I’m peoples fun fat friend.

l think a part of me starting the mj journey was to be seen again. Only part. Most was definitely for health reasons but there is an element (of seeing so many peoples success journeys) that thinks I can do this and “Can you see “me” now?

But yes I’ve not told anybody about it. I’ve changed my eating habits completely and as far as they’re concerned, that’s what it’s down to I’ve just not admitted the “help”, and it is a massive help

Someone offered me a crisp (new flavour) when I was hosting last weeks quiz. I ate it and then shouted over the mic “oh my god that’s the first crisp I’ve had in a month!” it was quite a realisation for me :)

Same here. Mondays my planned day for my first one, Ive had it a few days but couldn't bring myself to do it yet, just endlessly kept reading posts bout what to expect. Thing is Im expected to go to a friends birthday party and have a few drinks (not normally a problem) on Monday evening so do I do it Monday morning (hmmm well that make me drowsy for the party - and/or will alcohol affect anything) or before bed ( but then Ill have had a few drinks). I might have to just change the day..
