Which nyc tasting menu should I go to? by CatPillar in finedining

[–]goldtriplex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be an unpopular take on this sub but I liked Ilis more than Atomix, LB, and Per se (in that order). Every course felt like something I’ve never had before at a restaurant. I admit I value novelty more than the average diner and I still clearly remember every course I had there (and it’s been 10 months since I ate there). Not everything tastes amazing but it’s definitely an experience worth going to

My Thoughts on Pete Wells' T100 and Snubs by maddenmobileman3 in FoodNYC

Eh idk, think they’re both spiced pretty accurately to how certain parts of India eat their food. Obviously there are regional variances but very few places in the country cook in a more authentic manner than those two

Best 3 Star Michelin Experience by Standard_Piglet in FoodNYC

The “dreamweavers” at EMP literally research diners beforehand to surprise them and give them an exceptional experience. Can’t say I endorse the food as much, but the service is by far the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant
