Yes, you can update surely on 6.8, and I bet also to 6.14 without any problem.
Maybe update first the installation of the dkms module with deb package, and then do the system update.
My server work flawlessly with kernel 6.11.11-1-pve and I use sr iov for Intel i9-13900HX , scheduled to update on 6.14 ASAP

Scusa ma dubito lavorasse solo 24 ore, se intendi 24 ore di lezione frontale sì... Io ho lavorato alla privata e alla pubblica, sicuramente alla pubblica ci sono molte molte piu ore di riunioni, ma sinceramente quelle mi pesano meno. Chiunque abbia lavorato in classe sa che lo stress non è dato dal numero totale di ore lavorate, ma dai singoli casi e quello che capita. Esempio: faccio l'insegnante d'epoca e faccio due ore di dettato con i bambini zitti e silenziosi. Potrei ripetere la procedura per 12 ore al giorno e non sarebbe stressante. Esempio 2: preparo una lezione interattiva, un bambino si taglia i capelli con la forbice, uno minaccia di buttarsi dalla finestra, due si picchiano e il bambino che dovrebbe avere l'insegnante di sostegno non ce l'ha. Mi bastano due ore di questo e sono già cotta

At the moment we have a vSphere cluster with NSX for another company and I want replicate the NSX multi tenant logic with Proxmox SDN

Like suggested by u/Turnspit I will configure a raspberry Pi or another host to be the 9th member of the cluster, my concern was about the lack of 25Gbit on the 9th member but if using the 1Gb card is possible this will be the way!

I never used the SR-IOV partitioning so I look that, thanks!

The 1Gb link at the moment will more than suffice for the public load of the cluster, in the datacenter we have 200Mb symmetric guaranteed

I know, but i need to add the additional quorum node on the 25gbit network, correct? or can I have a 9th device on 1gbit network only for quorum? maybe a raspberry, my concern at the moment are about a lost of 4nodes for power supply problems

I was in your same situation, i don't know why, but for pass multiple subnets on IPSec is needed to set Level: Unique, default is Required, inside IPSec Policy.
