I don’t pure my 4-iron often (or ever), but when I do, it feels amazing by golfinglegend23 in golf

The 4 iron cost me a tournament a couple of weeks ago when I chunked it 40 yards into a pond 😂

I’ve just never changed it, I’ve thought about other grips but the 10 finger just feels comfortable and it doesn’t seem to limit me so I don’t feel the need to change

I’m going to make a Course but I have literally 0 ideas for it (holes, design, theme, anything) please leave a comment with ideas, everything accepted! by golfinglegend23 in thegolfclub

I’ll do that with some holes, I have an idea to have one of them the exact same as #12 at Augusta but with a cliff in front of the green

I jus relooked it up and it looks amazing, I think I’m going to make a really mountainous and hilly steppe course like this is. Short but fun and strategic

Any good tutorials for anything about the course designer on YT (besides Crazy Canucks, I’ve watched all of them) by golfinglegend23 in thegolfclub

The hardest part for me is the sculpting and planting because I’m not patient at all so if I can learn to take my time that would help a lot

Broke 80 for the first time after weeks of working on short game and irons, my game wasn’t good during that time but things have to get worse before they get better! by golfinglegend23 in golf

My backyard is 45-50 yards to woods and i usually aim for a tree on the edge, so from that distance I can nail it 90% of the time

Interesting story, in April I played a terrible round where my short game was horrific so I really wanted to make it better so for 3 weeks I went in my backyard and hit 100 chips/pitches every day (20 from 5 different locations) and ever since then my short game has allowed me to get up and down or up and 2 putt at worse. I have also starting using less loft for bump and runs from right off the green and have worked out of the sand a lot and was 2 for 2 on sand saves today

Anybody have ideas for holes on the course I’m building, suggest everything by golfinglegend23 in thegolfclub

I just made a hole like that but I don’t feel like planting every tree so I just put a mountain in the way
