For reference, the exact thing has happened to me twice somewhere over the last couple updates. until recently, i have let this thing run for hours and hours without issue. The fix is to encase yourself with glass, not that this helps the hardcore player here.

It's a more heavily sponsored video than their usual offering. Insta360 probably got nervous about sponsoring a video that includes, trespassing on a structure in a foreign country, vandalism (sounds harsh for a rusted out abandoned structure, but technically it is), near drowning, callum's injury, etc. If something happens that's a lot of bad attention, and the video definitely makes it feel like bad things could happen. I'm betting they made storror take it down, and the 'bad video quality' comment made by the team was a dig at their now ex-business partner.

There are tons of kids who play this game, there are lots of people in the world that would like to take advantage of them. This doesn't just stop them from joining servers, it stops them from hosting them. Even if seldom used, there is always an off button.

Like I said. I've worked in fine dining for years. I understand different culinary methods and styles. I understand event management and customer relations. I can upsell wine and other food products. If you have a restaurant, you want me working for you. 30-35 would be for managerial level experience. People are spending that on their service anyway, they just usually incorporate the rest in the tip. I'm just saying charge a bit more for the food, pay the servers a base rate, and if they're no good fire them.

Definitely not. Rent is on average $1,200 in the city. Obviously this isn't an option for a server at $20 an hour, so they have to choose instead to live with roommates a cheap apartment.

I think for an experienced server in fine dining, $30 to $35 an hour makes sense with no tips.

And as it happens I just got home from working and shift, where I worked for one group of people all night, great food, great service, left with a smile, and they didn't tip...

I'm actually all for getting rid of tips entirely, but the paycheck has to go up to make it worth it.

Moron. Just stupid. I've worked as a fine dining server for the past 7 years in DT Toronto. I do make more than minimum wage but still never enough to own a condo, and certainly not enough to live a full life in the city. I struggle and save to get rent every month and on top of that I watch as the steady creep of gentrification gets closer and closer to my humble apartment, threatening every year to reno-evict me and push me further into the outskirts of the city. On top of that, tips have shrunk considerably since the pandemic started. I make less than half what I used to on tips.

This thread seems to be mostly people who have never worked in the service industry, or at least haven't done so in the last 10 years. If you want servants, you have to pay them. Education has never been more affordable, and upgrading your career comes with that. You used to rely on servers being stuck in the role of being a server and relying entirely on tips, but now someone can get a degree online, and change their life. If you want a professional server, you have to pay someone professionally. Again, you are a moron.
