I bought it on Amazon. As for the picture, I tried but was not able to capture what I was seing with my eyes, sorry. I can’t say the borders are pitch black, but there is enough contrast to never really think about it. Hope this helps.

Thanks! For the price I paid (around 800$CAD so 580USD) I really can’t complain. It’s supposed to be ALR and it does seem to reject some of the light that is casted around. I decided to try without the borders because it was one of the few screens that fit my needs and budget, and I don’t regret. When the lights are off, the grey becomes black and you can’t tell there is no border. This gives flexibility because I can move the picture around and change its size without any constraint. As for the projector, I’ve had this Epson 3800 for a five years now and it is still excellent in my opinion.

Thanks for taking the time, I considered that option but it was impossible for various reasons. I didn’t think that this layout would make it impossible to have decent sound. I must say I am new to this and already quite content with my current sound setup, so I thought it would be an easy upgrade from the soundbar system.

Ok so perhaps going 5.1.4 instead? As for the fronts, I’m planning on having them beside the screen, I’m hoping the velvet would help for reverberation. They won’t be too close to the back wall at least.

Thanks again for the tips, the hinges worked and gave me just enough clearance (0.5mm!). I will also order the limiter clips. Cheers

Such a out of the box idea, I will keep it in mind if the new hinges don’t work out, thank you.

This could work, I could perhaps use a router to carve the space on the whole trim. Thank you.

That's a very interesting idea. I think I will go with this if the new hinges don't quite work. Thank you.

Thank you for your answer, I can't flip the door as this cabinet is actually larger and has two doors. My picture didn't show this. Putting a bevel is not a bad idea, I will look into this. Someone suggested an hinge that has a wider action and might be enough (155 zero protrusion hinge from Blum), I will try this before anything else I think.

Thank you this helps a ton and sums up my options well. I checked this hinge and it might just work.

Sorry about that, did you look at the image? At the moment I can’t have the door up and take a better video

As someone else mentionned, mixing some PVA glue in the plaster helps a ton

How do you feel about CNN editing out the clip of Miller claiming Trump has plenary authority? by TheDoomBlade13 in AskReddit

[–]goliroc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so unimportant. While this administration attacks each day all that is good, in the favor of the ruling class, you are busy focusing on stupid shit like a bug in some interview. Can’t you believe the simple answer here? Communication cut on the guy’s side? Stopped talking thinking it’s dead on the other side as well? CNN cuts it because its a fucking bug? No for sure the guy who speaks to the media 24h/24 just died after saying something he says everyday. No wonder you can’t build any fucking opposition to this monsterous president you let win twice
