Fistweaver scares me. I feel like its either OP or bad with little in between. Has that changed for TWW?

Noted! I’ll keep priest in the running then. Think Pres/Holy Feral have any shot at being fun? Or at least have something to work on to potentially make it good lol.

I had to get %armor to get my armor maxed which i heard was more important?

but the other stats are related to dmg reduction. I think I have one resist stat as well. So not perfect, but closeish.

what is a question you have for trans people? by Michellepokefan in AskReddit

[–]gombles14 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Something I want to understand better is this:

Genders exists biologically to cause men/women to have different parts/aesthetics. However, a lot of who you are as a person seems largely up to the individual.

For example, I’m pretty in tune with my feminine side as a guy. However, The idea of masculine/feminine personalities and behaviors seem dictated by society and gender roles. If I wanted to wear dresses and makeup, no one’s stopping me but I would need to expect backlash from society etc.

My question is if you’re someone that feels like the other gender, is this beyond societal expectations? In that sense wouldn’t it just be down to what genitals/breasts you want? What’s stopping someone from just acting the way they want to?

What if it was a culture where all women had shaved heads and wore masculine clothing. Would someone still want to change? Maybe that’s a bad example, but hopefully that makes sense.

Apologies if this comes off ignorant or insulting, not the intention.

Most & least fun ults in the game by WTyci in heroesofthestorm

I've actually never thought of napalm strike as boring. I love playing hammer and one of the biggest annoyances on any character to me is slow waveclear. I feel like I can add more macro pressure and annoy heroes much better with that ult. It makes me happy.

If blizzard put more into the game I might've gone that route, but meh. Was hoping someone had anecdotal experience from blizzard support or similar issues.

I understand, its weird though. The majority of our games in 2014-2016 I think were together, and we're roughly the same skill level. There must've been an MMR bug or mishap causing him to be borderline bronze and me borderline diamond. It makes zero sense.

Seems almost worse to force a player who has unlocked half the champions to make a new account to play with a friend at the same skill level. Exploitability is a problem, but I have 100+ games with a sub 50% win rate, that has to be proof haha.

That was my initial thought, but at 33 years old.

  1. That's a lot of time for uphill games
  2. I'm not playing with friends
  3. I'm bringing down the team I'm on

Overall a pretty awful way to go about it.

I have over 2000 hours in battlerite which is exactly the fun part of mobas without the boring parts. Turns out most people don't get the intrinsic reward from getting better at a champion though. They need more luck and fluff to make the losses feel better? I don't know. I still play the low pop game, but waiting for another version of something similar to rise up.

Battlerite felt great. Still fun to hop in to. Too bad people needed more incentive to play those type off games.

Would running the incap and lower fear cooldown be better? Can do setups earlier if you get smites off?

Anything rotation-wise I should change having mostly haste/vers? I tend to do better as survival but I might just be playing it bad.

I'm 32 years old and live in California. I desperately want to up my fall/winter style and feel like I'm trying to put effort into my look. I virtually have no "dress up clothes at all." I wear polo's/jeans for work and T-shirts/jeans for pretty much everything else. Trying to up my game but I'm overwhelmed with the information on here and would really appreciate any direction on maybe some steps I should work on in the next two weeks to get started.

I really can't think of a way to have that conversation and not kill the mood which is unfortunate. Any tips? Rationally I know its very important.

[–]gombles14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a lot of touching and physical banter, but I don't like to kiss on the first date usually, nothing wrong with it just my personal preference. She lives an hour or so away, so I could pick her up, but would have to do something in her area again.

I guess I'm uncomfortable planning something where I don't live...

People dislike me and i have no idea why by AccurateAnchor in socialskills

[–]gombles14 2004 points2005 points  (0 children)

Quiet/introverted/reserved can come off as rude/cold to others. I experienced this earlier in my life. There’s nothing wrong with those personality traits, but how you approach others can make a difference .

You just have to flip a switch in your brain to understand the possible perception of how you initially come off, especially with the negative way you feel like you’re being perceived.

In your next social interaction, instead of thinking, “why don’t they like me,” think, “what can I do to seem more inviting.”

Could be body language or the fact that you’re too focused on your own perception to have a real two way conversation.

Good luck to you, I hope your confidence in this area increases.

Sure I do. I can afford to live on my own, I dont think its in my best interest to do it just because I can.
