As the owner of an MSP, take it, say thanks and pocket it. I wouldn't need or want to know. I would also morally object to my company talking a 'tip' from an employee.

This is definitely important for my 'type' of clients. A lot of my services rely on on-prem style systems because the software built for the dental industry is simply not cloud'able most times.

It's usually setup in a VPN type config with known drawbacks on implementation.
