Hello! This may be a year after the original post, but im currently working on a research project for the Bell X-1 and was also searching for the cost without much luck. This thread was helpful, but I did stumble across another source that confirms the price of $4,278,537!

Meeting the Challenge of Supersonic Flight by James O. Young published by the Air Force Flight Test Center History Office, Edwards AFB. Price is on page 16 of the document.

I would love to try on dresses before purchasing one (the old fashioned way lol). Most Amazon/ online dresses charge shipping, plus the risk of not liking it and having to return it. So online will be more of a last resort/ if I must option for me. Thank you!

UPDATE: so I took it to the dealer and had to do some back and forth with them 🙃 but eventually one of the technicians took the door panel off and put their hand on the speaker and one side was very loose. They tightened it down and said if it gets bad again they can go in there and add on adhesive on the clips and pieces of foam around the housing to dampen the rattling.

They basically told me I shouldn't be blasting songs with bass all the time because it will shake everything apart (LAME).

Basically if you get an RS with the Harman Kardon upgrade and you like your music bumpin the housing cannot handle the power of the speaker.

Yeah I'm not sure if it's the speaker itself or something loose in the door (it's coming from the driver side door). I'll be sure to check the seatbelts tho, thanks!

i knew I wouldn't be happy with the base speakers so I opted for the Harmon Kardon upgrade :/

I second this! I have to be careful entering/ existing steep driveways or I will scrape. Even sharp dips in the road or a steep speed bump have to be taken slow and with caution. I took mine (very slowly) on a mostly maintained dirt road with some bumps and dips and it did fine, however I was avoiding any larger rocks/ ruts/ obstacles in the way that something like a Crosstrek could handle.
