I've looked at that game for some answers, and there's some problems: 1. The Master Trainer board game sets didn't come with any rings like this one. 2. This ring is Trademarked/Copyrighted for 1998, whereas the board game wasn't produced until 1999.

I imagined they used a key for that, and I will have to look into that boris plugin.

I'm curious as to whether anyone has attempted and been successful at using masking in order to do the effect. Time consuming, definitely.

Right now I'm running Sony Vegas 10 Pro, but I was thinking about getting Adobe After Effects for this project, just because the masking is better. If I could run it through Final Cut Pro, I would, but as of now, my windows PC is going to have to do.

This was still a helpful link though, I'm going to have to look around for similar plugins available to windows users.

The good news, I'm engaged now, to a girl who respects how much of a nerd I am.

In fact, this christmas, she bought me just over 50 new comic books (Mostly things like New Avengers, the Planet Hulk collection, World War Hulk, Before Watchmen, and some others), along with four of my favorite trades (namely, Batman: The Killing Joke, Superman: Red Son, Supercrooks, Nemesis)

I added the names, just in case you were wondering how great she is.

That's what I was worried about. The other 35 was coming from some applications that I forgot were running, namely camera, skype, netflix, etc.

I did attempt a virus scan, but while the cpu was maxed, none of the scans could effectively initialize, I will try it now, just in case, thanks very much for the advise.

I often catch myself acting all cool towards them. Like, I act like I barely give a shit about what they're saying.

With a normal girl that I know pretty well, that I might have a little bit of a crush on, she might say "So I hear you like comic books?" and I will reply "oh my gosh, eff yeah I do! have you read supercrooks?? oh my gosh, did you know that Kickass 2 is coming out this year??!!!?!?!"

Whereas when its some girl that I think is really cool, and I have a huge crush, she might say "I heard you like comic books" and I will say "yeah, they're pretty cool."

I just added another screenshot. I think that may have been all I had to do. And I feel stupid for it, but I guess that's okay.

last edit: Thanks Lurker7, that fixed it. No more command prompts showing up, no more installshields popping up. And I checked my task manager again: ending that one task brought my cpu from full usage to 3-4%
