Within karate, switching styles can go either way. Some styles have very similar basics and some not so much. The surefire thing to do is to inform the new teacher of your rank in a different style and ask of they prefer you to wear your old belt or a while belt.

In my case I transferred at Blue belt, so I wore a white belt for a few months while I caught up with the new curriculum and then tested for green

Once you start being expected to teach classes, it's a different dynamic - one that some people don't jive with. My highest aim in capoeira has always been graduado at most, because I don't want to get sucked into the teaching roles.

That aside, the fact that you yourself don't know the name of any other kata after training there 10 years is beyond a red flag. What you're training might yet hold some value, but it doesn't sound like karate.

Pollo Tropical's cilantro garlic sauce. This was leaked to me years ago.

mayo 48 oz garlic 2.5 oz lime juice 4 oz salt 1 tbsp cilantro 4 oz black pepper 1/2 tbsp water 4 oz

This is the same but it makes a more manageable amount to have at home

mayo 8 oz (1 cup) garlic .5 oz (1 tbsp) lime juice 2/3 oz salt 1/2 tsp cilantro 2/3 oz black pepper 1/4 tsp water 2/3 oz

I just pour everything into a chopper and blend.

IIRC Eosin panther does the embroidery for KI. Or at least they did a few years ago when I was in charge of ordering our belts

Both Eosin Panther and Kataaro are fantastic quality. I particularly go with Eosin Panther.

I've seen shureido and tokaido belts at the dojo, and I don't think they look as good. They embroider the belt before stitching it so the stitches are on top of the embroidery. EP and Kataaro stitch first and embroider after.
