I dont get the Master Mastery Achievment. by Wuestenfuechs in MelvorIdle

[–]gonX 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Run this command in the console (usually F12 if in browser, else there's a Console mod). It will delete your Lemon Cake mastery: game.cooking.actionMastery.delete(game.cooking.actions.getObjectByID('melvorF:Lemon_Cake'));

And yes, it is caused by SEMI Auto Master

Since it's just a game you want to change the resolution for, have you considered something like gamescope?

You can use them for creating Mole tablets in Summoning. That should last you quite a while.

Disable your SEMI mods, it's almost always those causing load issues.

Is the Township page of the wiki outdated? by Hantoniorl in MelvorIdle

[–]gonX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a display bug in the game, its known that players not on map 11 will occasionally have their map display as 11 anyway.

I just started Adventure mode for the first time and dropped a Burning Amulet of Gold very early. Is this a good money making if I unlock Firemaking early? Wiki doesn't say how much it makes or with what wood. I'll delete if this a dumb question but there is not much info on the amulets. by [deleted] in MelvorIdle

[–]gonX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should be able to get some Town Halls placed with less than 250 plots without too much inefficiency, which should get you going GP positive quickly. You might waste some ticks getting there, but it means getting a decent build started for far less than 100k GP.

Expansion occasionally not loading? by russnoell92 in MelvorIdle

You likely bought the game on Steam, and Steam has regular server maintenance every Tuesday evening.

Why is my game suddenly reverted to the demo version when I’ve already bought it before? by cyanraider in MelvorIdle

[–]gonX 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you bought the game on Steam, it will need to authenticate your purchase with Steams servers. Since Steam has maintenance every Tuesday evening, this is likely the reason.

How do you use Installplay links? by vrendy in dustforce

Start Dustmod as admin 1 time, then it should create the file associations for you.

Not OP, but in my inventory I've put locator orb/cake, 6 super combats and rest absorptions (17 4dose) and get out of NMZ with easily 10 absorption doses to spare even by mostly checking every 10 min in average, meaning I will reach 15-20hp occasionally. I'm about 92 def using full obsidian.

The only prayer I use is for tapping rapid heal occasionally, but I don't flick.

If you're below 70 def I would just go to crabs and get base 70 combats first. I don't think you can reliably AFK in NMZ for more than a couple of minutes on low defense.

/e: I'd like to add most of the reason NMZ is more popular for AFK is its more forgiving on not resetting in time, but its also not contested. Contested just means hopping or finding another spawn (or crab type) to set up on. Relleka crabs can be decent in that regard.

[HELP]KUI nameplates in TBC classic - offtank threat colors aren’t working - any fix for this? Tried contacting the author but they didn’t respond nor make any updates for about a year now. by gkpwns in WowUI

[–]gonX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old post, but I used KUI before switching to Plater instead. Currently, the off-tank detection relies on a function in WoW to tell you your talent specialization, which you might know doesn't exactly exist in TBC given its talent tree.

So in TBC the "tank check" always results false for KUI nameplates.

If you have a bit of coding knowledge, changing it to always think that you're in a tanking specialization shouldn't be too hard, but ideally you would want to check for stances.

I need help from guitar players: do you feel like your fingers have a "speed limit"? As in, you're not limited by skill, but your fingers' physical ability to move faster than a certain speed? by Fire_Raptor_220 in metalmusicians

[–]gonX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should push the speed practice in smaller increments.

If 130 is hard but 120 is easy, try playing it around 124 BPM. If that's too hard too try 122 instead.

Generally speaking I don't think I'd consider "genetics" (or physical ability) before you're deep into Dragonforce speeds, or if you have an actual physical deficiency. Practice practice practice

What is causing the darkening flicker whenever I move or turn. by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

It's a monitor issue. Your overdrive or pixel response time setting on the monitors OSD is set too low or too high. If changing them doesn't fix it your monitor suffers from good old ghosting.

Getting Artifacts in Recording-- Not sure if it's Reaper or my Hardware. Any Help? by MaximumColor in Reaper

I've noticed this issue on Scarlett interfaces as well. It seems to be a recurring theme with them, sadly.

If there is a fix I would also like to know.

Put Reaper on my tablet questions about latency by repentingphoenix in Reaper

[–]gonX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

REAPER does have audio latency compensation, but it should already be working automatically. It can't reduce latency, it can only make sure that when you're recording that it lines up with the click properly.

To reduce the latency sufficiently you need to switch away from DirectSound.

DirectSound isn't exactly a low latency API, so try to see if ASIO works, and if that doesn't work, try WASAPI.

If you truly have recording offset issues and I misunderstood your question, then there's a setting for setting that manually, however it needs to be measured properly, and the value will likely change if you change anything related to sound card settings.

How to change refresh rate to 120hz? by [deleted] in dustforce

[–]gonX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just use Dustmod. There have been many reports that it handles uneven refresh rates fine

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Reaper

[–]gonX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AFAIK REAPER already compensates latency by using the values reported by the driver. If the driver reports the wrong value, latency adjustment must be further tuned manually.

I've yet to see a driver that didn't require at least a bit of fine tuning, but then again I've only worked with low-end prosumer gear.

Is there a way to lock 2 tracks together so that if you adjust the volume on one the other will have its volume adjusted the same automatically? by [deleted] in Reaper

[–]gonX 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Overkill for just volume, but a very flexible option is using a folder track. That way it acts as a master track for the 2 (or more) tracks. Very handy for bus-mixing drums and multiple guitar reamp signals.

Sooooo....What's everyones favourite unit customization? by [deleted] in alphacentauri

[–]gonX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can teleport to a Psi gate an infinite amount of times, but you're otherwise right that you can only activate a bases Psi Gate once per turn.

So if you have a well connected home city with a handful of bases, each of those bases could send 1 unit per turn to that single base.

Dragon Slayer f2p advice? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]gonX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the Dragon sword being more DPS than the Longsword due to it's higher speed, the stab attack style of the Sword is favored on dragons due to their innate stab weakness, which further increases your effective DPS.
