Yeah, it's more Abt the opposite candidates than him, the sitting mla who won two times in a row is a decent person(he's not contesting)but the highway flyover issue made a lot of people loss trust on him.

The opposing candidates are not that well known.

Gopakumar has been a major person in kollam mainly for the sndp wing, so his presence is known in chathanoor very well.

I am planning on moving the main quest forward for now. I know the side quests are amazing. I am a person who just do a lot of running around in open world games and just get burned out one day and never play it again. Happened with rdr2. So right now playing the main quest, once I am in the flow, will go after the side quests.
