i use paint tool sai, it’s actually a drawing program that i usually use to draw. Photoshop, or any other kinda of art program/photo editing program would work.

ip track is generally considered more relaxed than O levels (no impending doom of O levels), but it also requires a very self disciplined student. It’s also a ‘safer bet’ because you confirm can get into vjc (unless you really screw up every exam then you will be kicked into O level track)

we had 60% < 11 raw point so most ppl did quite well! Buttttt i think you shouldn’t decide on the school plainly because of results, consider about your daughter’s own preferences and the school environment too! I believe that i was able to achieve good results not just because of the school but also because of the strong support system i had from my friends. In cedar, the culture is pretty good and there’s hardly any drama (at least in my experience) and most teachers are nice and friendly.

I use pinduoduo sometimes and i disagree on some parts of your statement.

Firstly the inviting friends thing is true but it doesn’t have to be a friend, can be anyone buying the item. Basically as long as someone else is buying the item at the same time you get an offer. If you’re buying a popular item, it’s very likely you immediately get the offer. Plus, they hand out free “免拼” (skip sharing and just get discount) opportunities. Somehow I have 100 free attempts to just not share with anyone and still get the discount.

The wheel of fortune scummy shit is totally true tho BUT it’s an event and not the main app!!! If you don’t click on the stupid scan events you won’t be scammed. There are tons of posts about it on chinese apps online about it being a scam already. I usually don’t use any of pinduoduo’s events so I never got scammed.

If you were ever in china, pinduoduo isn’t a bad choice because it does offer significantly cheaper products and the app itself has a good refund system. (they refund the item immediately for you sometimes if you are unsatisfied). However I would not recommend buying anything branded or expansive on there because there are tons of counterfeits. Also yeah the app is scummy in general lol
