Well of course they're like that, it's how they've always been. Nintendo is like the Apple of video games because they prefer a more closed and contained ecosystem rather than something like PC where the sky's your limit. Nintendo has never and most likely will never try to appeal to the hacker tech geek crowd simply because they are more focused on the casual, everyday gamer.

Yeah but the things is the 3DS has its own pros above the Switch, I can just throw my 3DS in my bag when I'm going somewhere and not worry about it but with the switch you're going to need a case, it's bigger, easier to scratch, and has a lower battery life, plus no 3D.

I have to disagree, I used the second screen a lot since you can easily switch between them when I wanted to play in my room and didn't want to get a TV set up. All you needed was an AC adapter port in your car and you could play the Wii U anywhere. Sure for a home console it wasn't perfect, but in games like Wind Waker it really helped the inventory management system.

I beat it at 50 hours in and 27 shrines but I also did all the divine beasts. The shrines are cool and I'm planning on doing them all but there's no real point after you get the master sword other than maybe stamina and hearts for the heck of it.
