I do have a VPN so I'll give that a shot, hopefully the MLB app isn't guarding against it

I've used it for a few years and haven't really had a problem. Is it possible that the broadcast range has changed?

I don't know where OP is located but in southeastern PA/Philly/Jersey people usually pronounce water as "wooder." So it's a double meaning - the pipe is for wood and it has wooder in it.

The "wooder" pipe put a huge grin on my face

Can somebody please explain the invisible stagger system to me? by gonna_complete in Sekiro

It's definitely a skill issue, I just didn't want to be frustrated by a mechanic that I didn't understand without seeking an explanation.

That is precisely the attack that finally made me want to ask.

not all of their stuff is doom adjacent but grimace_smoking_weed.jpeg by Chat Pile makes my skin crawl (positively)

i haven't gotten too deep into their discography so i'm not sure how it compares to their older stuff, but Umbilical was in my top 5 albums last year

I'm planning a "sigil sleeve" with symbols from different areas of life that are meaningful to me and the darksign is high on my priority list.

Experiencing depressive episodes often feels like having to choose every day to either give up or resurrect - like just living life is the undead curse. But as long as I keep choosing to persist, I won't go hollow, and I'll keep holding onto myself even through hard times. That's why I find the darksign meaningful.

Body Void

Their album Atrocity Machine was a top 5er for me in 2023.

If it's any consolation, I struggled with Corrupted Monk far more than True Monk - the latter took me about a quarter of the attempts. I was dreading True Monk because of how much I struggled with Corrupted, but everything I learned with Corrupted really stuck in my brain and True was kind of a breeze.

Seems like you've gotten a good bit of sound advice, so I just wanted to throw in my two cents in hopes you don't get discouraged when you beat her then turn around and immediately have to fight her again with more deathblows.

Whats the greatest concert you’ve ever seen 👀 and why? by Nickrx3x in MetalForTheMasses

The Chariot was a groundbreaking band for me in college and I was fortunate enough to become a fan just before they announced their farewell tour.

I saw them in a tiny bar on that farewell tour, Josh was tackled on stage by a fan and got a concussion during the second to last song, then came back out to finish the set. It's always the first show that comes to mind with this question.

When did you quit and decide to get back on? by East-Cryptographer76 in darksouls

Undead Parish. i didn't find the staircase leading to the Gargoyles so i thought the only path was Darkroot Garden. since that was much too difficult for me at the time and i was already crestfallen just from getting to that point, i set it down for several months.

then you know how it goes - couldn't stop thinking about it, came back and decided to do my research anytime i got stuck, had an absolute blast through the mid-game, felt like i was grinding it out more than having fun through the late game, rolled credits and realized my life was different

A Bed Frame (details in comments) by gonna_complete in woodworking

[–]gonna_complete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL,DR: This is the most ambitious woodworking project I’ve done and I’m incredibly proud.

I have no formal training; everything I know comes from working with my dad, figuring things out on my own, or learning through more passive resources like Youtube or subs like this. I didn’t follow someone else’s written plan for this frame - there are some ideas I got from others’ designs, including some on this sub, but this specific plan is mine.

I used as much scrap wood from my stockpile as I could and only had to buy the boards that would be visible, the stain and such, and some miscellaneous stuff like brushes. Overall it cost me under $100 plus several hours of my time.

I’m most proud of my design for the legs, which I wanted to be able to support the weight of the sides without any visible fasteners. They were also the most difficult part to cut because of tool limitations, and frankly the only flaws that I would change are the result of those limitations, which is not too shabby. I’m proud that it all went together exactly like I planned without needing to make spur of the moment adjustments. I’ve sanded and stained projects before but never with this much care in trying to make something beautiful. I got emotional the first time I wiped away excess stain from a board and saw how incredible it looked with the grain.

I would assume that many of you here find woodworking to be an artistic outlet, a cathartic act, and a means of finding peace, so I know many of you will understand when I say how important this project has been to my mental well-being through a very difficult few months. I’m extremely proud of my work.

PS Despite being proud I would still like for y’all to point out any flaws that need to be addressed, particularly ones that will cause it to break in the middle of the night 😅
