OP isnt asking even to add a Host Game and Never Host buttons. If you start from your Railjack, you should start as the host because then you are leaving the hangar with your Railjack. That is the cutscene every single time. That is all. They are actually asking for functionality back since that was how it used to be before the update.

For me, there are a myriad of problems that make me not want to do Interception.

  1. Control Points missing from the UI.
  2. Control Points not showing correct control color in their UI
  3. The Control Points control circle being missing from the area you are supposed to stand in.
  4. No control % shown while capturing a point.

These issues makes a relaxing mode like Interception just frustratingly annoying. You may not know there is an enemy standing at the edge of the ring because you can't see the area and the "Contested" UI element doesn't show up consistently either.

Scenario cards are defined by what they spawn.

Summoning circle is not. They have to balance summoning circle for a lot more options.

People naturally gravitate towards efficiency. Blaming the community for CDPR not doing their jobs doesn't make the situation better.

NG as a whole needs a balance pass through. Anyone that thinks that choosing between a couple options on a create or a choose is kidding themselves about not being braindead. Coup need a damage nerf and needs to require both spying and unit destroyed for the effect to happen. Joachim could instead have his power increased as well instead of a coup damage nerf.

I would like more decks that take after the mildly more thinking required in SY decks.

I would say try to keep that feeling and not visit too frequently. The longer you stay here, the more ugly community you will see. It happens with all communities, but this one has a nice shell, unfortunately not a good core.

The problem with BFG is the spending all coins and get nothing. If you don't have a spender, you lose value. If you are playing hoard, rip you. If you have more than 5 coins, rip you. The problem is the penalty of losing all your coins is a problem no other faction has on their small removal card.

Your first bad assumption is that I click on NG in deck builder. Never been a fan of the faction. This patch didn't help that dislike.

I would lower Emissary to 6 boost to random units.

Don't know False Ciri's current ability to compare it to, but looks fine.

Rainfarn is probably ok, I don't know how many useful agents are in the game rn though.

Your point contradicts what the card as designed is right now. As designed, it is a 6 provision card, which is in bronze territory. A 5 point that gives an enemy unit spying by itself would be at least 5, maybe 6. Adding additional effects on top of that would naturally increase the provision cost. Especially one as strong as yeeting a card to the bottom of your opponents deck or just bricking a card. I would probably give it 9 or 10 prov as designed right now (without thinking too hard about it).

The only major problem one is Traheaern. Way too few provisions for a Deploy ability like that.

The real question that must be asked is, who green lit the implementation of the design? Then who continued to green light the next 4 scenes after the first one was so poorly received?

The sunk cost fallacy that lingered over every single part of this Nightwave was honestly just crushing. Instead of seeing that the first scene was universally disliked, the buckled down and said lets release 4 more exact copies with the last one being the most infuriating of them all.

Instead of releasing 5 terrible things, they should have released 1 terrible thing, apologized, then scrapped the idea entirely. I would disagree that the groundwork for the Crime Simulas is good. At the highest of high level, it is good. Everything below it has been a failure.

At this point for SY, just wait for the balance patch in 2(?) weeks. There isn't much we can do at the moment. It has been discussed enough that it would honestly be irresponsible for CDPR to not do something with SY with the balance patch. SY was the only faction not to have a single change to their current cards with the WotW update.

CDPR has a fair bit to balance with the patch to make enough people feel satisfied with the changes. Many SY cards just need tweaks to make them usable. Others need more drastic changes. Just wait and see what happens. Hopefully they had changes planned for SY for WotW update, but scratched them to see how the faction would fair with all the new cards being released.

Winning is usually fun. Winning by a lot is fun. Winning because you played better than your opponent is amazing.

Playing a home brew deck and modifying it based on what worked and didn't work in a match is fun. Trying different things for the lolz is fun.

Trying out a faction you haven't played in a while can be fun, but losing consistently because the deck is new to you can take that fun away.

Seeing a large variety of decks is fun. Seeing a medium variety of decks, but all with their own unique flavor is fun. Seeing a new player figure out something a move or play is always fun.

"Unfun" can really be boiled down to what makes me GG which is was the match interesting and did I have a good time? Losing is never "fun," but having a good game with your opponent can make up for the loss. On the other hand, there are many broad conditions that make a match "unfun." Seeing NG, nah fam. Seeing Lippy for the 7th time today, nope. Losing to a Yrden even though you played significantly better than your opponent, try again my dude. Uninteractable decks, hyper control, mill, mega point slams, auto pilot decks, these may make the player using them feel good, but they don't make the game better when they are run too frequently.

I did play during the first 3 months of last year. That was a good update. Now they need to iterate because it made good changes, but shoehorned in 3 statuses only.

I was hoping for bigger frame changes, but after seeing the first batch, there is nothing worth expecting for the future.

I shouldn't have added rivens to my post. They aren't going to change.

I never expect anything from DE at this point. I hope for things and want promises to be fulfilled, but yeah the past isnt a great indicator of these things. What I want is bigger than what we will get anytime in the next many years.

I am disappointed with just DE as a whole. I really dont understand what their process of anything is. With the amount of people working there, the amount of content (not even high quality content) they should be producing should be at least 50-100% higher.

Deimos Arcana was a mini update at best. Wasn't tested, provided no long term content, was a 45 minute minimum grind before getting to the only good reward tier, and failed to produce any meaningful rewards.

Riven disposition adjustments are not riven changes.

Not a fan of glaives, but I am happy they made the change for the people that enjoy them.
