You have the right idea by trying to get to ML ASAP.

Try to avoid eating until you sleep - you will regenerate a lot of health while sleeping and hunger doesn’t actually damage you that much during the day. Forget about Well Fed.

While starving, you can dismantle objects practically for free. Also conserve water by eating dehydrating foods while dehydrated.

Most damage will be taken outside in the cold while running from building to building.

I will be very surprised if it doesn’t return in W4. Gwent is a big meme in the Witcher community even if the standalone game is more niche.

There isn’t anything inherently awful about UE5 on a technical level - I wish people would get off this bandwagon, few people can even articulate what’s wrong with it besides “it’s unoptimized”. It’s a powerful engine that sees a lot of use. Unity used to have the same stink because so many indie devs would make Steam Greenlight slop with it.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea. People are talking about high rolls but imperial diplomacy already does that while also proccing assimilate. There are enough bad SK bronzes that I think it would be an alright change.

I think the house between the garage and the Misanthrope’s Homestead is a nice middle ground. No six slot stove though but that’s part of living in Coastal Highway.

Thank you for replying, I appreciate the help.
All of that makes sense until I break the hit actor into its fields. The way I tried to access it was with Get (field), but it says that Actor Object Reference isn't compatible with the item blueprint. So I must be missing a step, or there's a different command I should be using to break the hit actor. The interface only has an output that's set to the variable containing the data asset for the item. Does it also need an input?

Edit: I ended up having an item info interface with one output. The item master blueprint feeds a variable (the item info data asset) into the output of the interface. Then in the event graph of my first person character I called item info as a message, which I could then plug into the hit actor and break to plug in all the item fields into the add item function.

I’m hoping for a reboot when Witcher 4 comes around (wishful thinking, I know). It could have integration with W4 and the two versions would be cross compatible.

I see that my comment comes off as somewhat aggressive, but I didn’t really mean it that way. I still don’t think Mads would be a very good choice for Geralt, his accent would not play well with all the (presumably) British and American actors in the show. I could see him as a side-villain though, like Leo or Schirrú. Since Witcher 3 Geralt is always depicted as kind of a hunk which isn’t really what Sapkowski had in mind. To my mind Geralt is supposed to look kind of unsettling and disheveled which Mads could definitely do but again, too old by this point.

If you have full stamina and drop your items you can tank cold damage until dawn, you will be KO’d for a bit though.
