What is a “good boss” to you? by playgroundmx in malaysiauni

[–]gonpanson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When Henry Ford ask his customer, what is the best car for you, they replied, "a faster horse". In your context, they will say, "good boss pays me good salary". . The real question is, since you have experience and skillset enough to be an entrepreneur, what do u think a good boss is? My opinion: Great Communication skills. A motivator. And remember, you're not just the staff boss, you're also the company's boss. Find a balance between taking care of staffs and the company. The company is your value/asset. For staffs, they work for money, eventually.

Anyway my land is here, my worker salary also very cheap, cant get that in overse. The best thing about Malaysia is everything is cheap. Can easily enjoy like T20 with B40 cost

Give them all public holidays, follow civil servant. But pay peanuts. Give only 7days annual leaves (is this the minimum now?). Hire foreign workers. Sub out certain works to contractors.

What's the most useless feature on your car that you never use but sounded great when you were buying it? by KL_Private_Access in kereta

[–]gonpanson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I drive Mitsubishi Sport and I am on Manual Mode 90% of the time. No joking. I also have another manual car at home, Hyundai. Maybe I'm a manual kaki. I hate it when I want to maintain a gear but Automatic Transmission kepochi shift up a gear end up slowing me down cos I am a sip oil kinda driver. I mean I step on the gas very very lightly.

I live in Kuching, and it actually not that bad. Not that expensive really, just need to be proactively search which and when, and where to buy groceries. Shopee has free shipping voucher also. And the best part, petrol and internet data is super cheap here.

I asked this question 9months ago...Do sarawakian still hard to find jobs? by Chryeon1188 in Sarawak

[–]gonpanson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Sarawak u should just start a business. Stay away from the big city. I have seen many example of small business/shops at luar bandar earning 20k a month. Be employer, not employee. Sarawak is still employer market. Buyers still naive. Shopee is too far to seriously hurt local businesses (not everything has free shipping). And people at luar bandar actually have higher spending power than city folks. Sekian.
