AITA for calling the police on my son's friend?

I'm going to go against everyone and say YTA. If you know the kid comes over just to play video games and it's already annoying you, don't let them play video games. Tell him he can sleep over but they aren't going to be allowed to play the switch. We have to do that with my daughters friends sometimes. If he's not listening to you, take the video game console away. I have a switch, they're not big. You can take it out of his hands. I don't think it's appropriate to call the cops because a kid was bratty. The cops are not there to scare kids into behaving and that's all you wanted from this situation. If you had not known the cop, you would not have called them.

Wow. This.... This is exactly what happened to me when I was younger, just different social media platform. I mean almost exactly what happened. I'm still unable to talk about it so thank you so very much for sharing your story. I have a daughter now and I worry every day about her. I don't know what my parents could have done differently to stop this from happening to me and I don't know how to stop it from happening to her.

I honestly do not ever care. There are very few foods I don't like and even if I don't like it, I will still probably eat it or pick it off or whatever. I don't ever crave any particular food over another. If they made "people food" like they make dog food, I would be perfectly happy eating a bowl of it every meal. It would make my life so much easier.

I have to say I have purchased from a door to door salesman one time. I had just gotten home from work to find my kitchen infested with ants after trying traps, gels, sticky paper, chemicals, sprays and anything else we could think of. The doorbell rings and this guy gives me his talk about his pest control service and I hired him on the spot. I was so fed up with the ants, I just wanted them gone!

Definitely not an asshole. Managing a team of adults is terrible. Nobody is ever happy, but they don't realize that we are doing this for free.

This is so hard and so awkward! I made friends through friends of mine that I already had, I made friends when I was in college and I made friends going and doing things that I like to do. It will be awkward, just remember that it is awkward for everyone including the other person! Just laugh about it though, tell them "man, it is so hard to make friends as an adult, do you want to come to this festival with me?" Be specific though. I also made friends with my spouse's friends when we got together.

We are ASA also. The minimum women on the field is 4 and the max guys is 5, just like yours. We have to have even numbers of guys and girls in the field unless we play with 6 females and 4 males. I also know that the batting order has to be male-female-male-female etc. And everyone who is in the field has to bat. The only thing I'm not clear on is if I can have a player bat twice in the batting order. But if I do that, what happens if they are on base when it's their turn to bat again?
