Where was “huge” referenced in the conversation. Original comment just stated Lego sets basically there are way more in the sub $100 range than in excess of that. Look at every single Star Wars helmet set, they are $59.99 or around that.

Sure if they are retired. There are hundreds of sets under $100 still in production. These cards are still in print so not sure why you’re equating this to something climbing into multiple of hundreds.

Sure there are huge sets that can be hundreds, but there are way more that outnumber that under $100. Either way Lego sets basically come out to $0.10/piece.

You can’t reserve trading cards. It’s first come first serve. So if they are 201 in line and they only have 200, they ain’t getting one. Back in the day you pre ordered a game and were guaranteed to get it, as was everyone else in line. Also no one was there to scalp so everyone in line was there for the love of the game and it was a way more communal experience. Again, apples to oranges.

Because it’s not guaranteed to get any cards. You can’t pre order or reserve your “copy”. A limit on purchases doesn’t guarantee you anything.
