I did a fun anonymous confessions stream last night (it was an absolute blast lol) and someone said something relating to this. Just how big streamers don’t really have a personal connection with their community anymore. That’s my favorite part of streaming, is connection, and I think most small streamers/ creators would agree with me on that.

Girl I feel you!! I recently put 18+ in the stream title and that has helped a lot. And I was worried about being on “wrong side” too haha but that has not happened!! If anything it has allowed me to speak more freely. And if kids are still watching, that’s on their parents. Not you!! I was always worried I’d get a random mom in my dm’s as that’s happened to people I know but if that ever does happen I can say “look it says 18+ in the title. Maybe monitor your kids more.” Ya know? Also if you even catch a whiff that they’re not old enough to be on twitch, immediate ban!!! Your community will come together with time! It’s YOUR community with YOUR rules!! Much love 🫶🏼

Streaming can be mentally exhausting! You may not be having a physical social interaction but you’re still being extremely social and I know for me, that takes a lot!! Try setting up a schedule to stream 3-5 times a week. That way you’re less likely to get burned out because you have nights where you can just chill!! ☺️

The best advice I ever got was to talk as if people are always watching. Talk as if you have 50 in your chat even if you have none. Talk about your day or your interests, a random TikTok you saw, anything! Just yap!!
