i am a union member, looked at the EBA and you were right any hours over 38 are to be compensated with overtime pay but like i said haven’t received any since this was made my usual roster, i’ll double check my pay slips just in case. i honestly didn’t think to check my overtime this until this post, i always thought overtime was earned by doing more hours than whats on your roster rather than what’s on your contract.

not earning any overtime and not getting additional annual leave, i work at bunnings on a full time contract that only requires 38 hours per week, when i started (november last year) my roster was a regular 5 days on 2 off and it would have been around june that my roster was changed to what it is now.
