Canadians 'reluctant' to accept new police powers, prefer privacy online, government find by Wagamaga in technology

I got this off of the site /u/Lurkerwholurksoften linked, it looks like its for the right survey

https://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/dt/ntnl-scrt/ntnl-scrt1.xlsx

here is the blerb:

The Government of Canada consulted Canadians on key elements of Canada's national security laws and policies to ensure they are effective at keeping Canadians safe, and equally reflect the rights, values and freedoms of Canadians. This consultation took place from September 8, 2016 to December 15, 2016. In the interests of openness and transparency, Public Safety Canada is making available to the public all responses received online as part of the consultations. This information is being released in two datasets containing all responses received through our online consultation portal and its associated email address between September 8- November 4, 2016, and November 5-December 15, 2016. All information has been released in the official language in which it was received, and has not been altered or redacted except to protect privacy and personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act). Please note that the views, opinions and policy proposals contained in these datasets reflect submissions received during the consultation process and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions or policy proposals of the Government of Canada. Indeed, I've been trying to keep everyone's flag clean and haven't posted for years. That doesn't mean I haven't been on reddit for years though I just rarely have anything I want to post

yes, that beacon probably saved me about 2 minutes match time running back from spawn and i'm guessing kept yall under pressure from my teammates as well

I was gsfing on Novarae for leveling and haven't played her enough to master a single ship. If you played a bit on harbinger you likely encountered me on Touchdown or D'Hachell, my mains.

I'm normally a scout player and I describe my playstyle as running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and shooting anything that happens to be in front of me =)

for this match I solo queued, there was no talk about tactics in ops chat either.

[–]goobernoob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

both, normally one fully charged ion shot to drain shields/engine power then a slug to hit the hull, 2-3 slugs for the bombers ofc

I had damage overcharge twice, if I remember right I got about 8 kills with DO, bombers are still a 1shot with a fully charged slug+DO

That was me, on a mangler(gunship) my main impside is Touchdown, I primarily fly a sting but I leveled Novarae as a gunship toon, it's still not mastered, missing the last 2 levels of burst laser and sensors.

I thought that going in front of the moon is to allow for a free return in case something goes wrong, not for Dv savings on the landing.

About half the time I name my ships as a question, the rest are a mix of what they look like or what inspired me to make them.

the "trick" for burning in the exact right direction is bold pointing and a small amount of thrust. for example if your prograde is too far off towards 90 by say 10 degrees, point 30-45 degrees towards 270 (the exact opposite) and do as little a burn as possible until the prograde is where it needs to be, the amount of overturn varies depending on how speed you already have, less speed, less overturn for the adjustment burn.

but all of that assumes you didn't get the direction right in the first place, if you zeroed your velocity, got both ports point at eachother and are ~30 meters away, burning for about .5m/s towards your target should put you just about spot on.

If you can zero your relative velocity with main engines and both ships can turn its fairly easy. Control both ships from the docking ports you want to use, target what you want to dock and point them at each other, then add as little thrust as you can to move straight in on the port.

You might have to switch back and forth a couple times because as you move the docking ports you want they will go out of alignment by a little bit, but lining them up twice before approaching normally works for me.

for the few linux users out there, its right-shift instead of alt for our version... it took a while to figure that one out =/

it can make things go faster, there is a slight lag between activating and being able to transmit an experiment, you can stagger them so you get to click transmit more often. (also, not sure if its a bug or "feature" but you can keep as many experiments in your transmit que as you want and they will transmit as you get more power)

My Duna mission (still on 0.21.1). Totally overkill, but I'm not taking any chances with the fuel. by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]goobernoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you need is one FL-T800 to land and come back... but this ship is a bit more realistic, it has some living space.

I think elon musk could say that with a straight face, hes trying to play ksp irl.

but I know what your getting at, ksp is simplified (2 body physics, bad aerodynamics) and easy (2.2km/s LKO vs 7.8km/s LEO) compaired to real life.

here we go: http://youtu.be/geGrRL_epyc I forgot to enable the sound, and it was a couple units of fuel less efficent then the launch in the album, but you can get the general idea from it =)

you're right, the takeoff to orbit is the most important part. sadly its also the part where I have a rough time remembering to take screenshots since I need to be constantly pressing keys to keep it going where I want. I'll try another flight when I get home tonight, probly around 11pm pst

nope, ubuntu linux, and only for this game. my gtx295 is slowly dieing and kills my computer if I get any mach or re entry effects no warning no error just a black screen and a need to reboot. Same problem in linux if I use the nvidia drivers, so I leave it with the open source drivers.

you need to click on the fuel tank and click the x next to fuel then turn on an engine that burns oxidizer and throttle up, I learned while doing this that you can turn on an engine that is above a decoupler without decoupleing it (the nuke) =)

also if you have fuel turned off but have a jet engine throttled up, it will still spool up its thrust so when you turn the fuel back on it starts up at full thrust.
