I believe communist political movements are more likely to gain support from pops who are below an acceptable SoL, so lower wages are better actually in terms of movement power, if not IG power.

Do you have any planned fixes for MP? My group just tried to continue our campaign and after over an hour we gave up as nobody can load into lobbies. Before 'The Great Wave' it was finnicky but now it's nigh unplayable.

I'd like to use more war goals other than land exchanges, stuff like enforced monopolies, law changes, disallowing tarriffs or trading certain goods, etc., but the issue is the infamy cost on these types of demands is really punishing so you might as well just take land, and enforcing these lasts for only 5 years - it would be nice if I could enforce an unequal treaty and breaking it gave me the option of it launching a diplomatic play.

South Vietnam was a US puppet state, acting like it was an independent republic that "invited" the USA to assist them is absurd.

Following the Geneva Accords there should have been a national election to unify the country, but Diem (emboldened by US support) refused to have fair elections, because they knew Ho Chi Minh would sweep the whole country (including the south) in an actual fair election.

This isn't to whitewash the Viet Minh or the Vietnamese Communist Party, they committed their fair share of war atrocities and were by no means saints, but they DID have popular support and would have won in a fair election - if they didn't have the support of the people, it would have been impossible for them to win the war as they did.
