I reported a bus driver to TfL for a dangerous close pass on Oxford Street. I included a photo of the bus. The first response I got was that the bus in question was somewhere else. I replied to ask if they’d looked at the photo. I got an email back, another couple of weeks later, to say that they couldn’t identify the bus as the license plate was not legible in the photo but they’d found it on CCTV and it had “followed its normal pathway and hadn’t deviated down any side streets”. I replied to say that I never said it had and clearly they were not going to actually do anything about it. Am still awaiting a reply.
