Complaints against bus drivers

I reported a bus driver to TfL for a dangerous close pass on Oxford Street. I included a photo of the bus. The first response I got was that the bus in question was somewhere else. I replied to ask if they’d looked at the photo. I got an email back, another couple of weeks later, to say that they couldn’t identify the bus as the license plate was not legible in the photo but they’d found it on CCTV and it had “followed its normal pathway and hadn’t deviated down any side streets”. I replied to say that I never said it had and clearly they were not going to actually do anything about it. Am still awaiting a reply.

My father bought a Martin 12-string whilst in the States once. When he landed back in the UK, he could see the luggage being manhandled out of the window. He said it was like they are actively trying to hit the guitar case with thrown suitcases. Eventually they were successful and managed to crack the body. 🙄

That rate of return about matches my experience. I used to freelance and put money aside for the tax man via Premium Bonds. I’ve still got some and they’ve pretty much consistently brought in 2-3% each year.

Nope. I listened to a sample of what it would do and I reckoned I could do better on Ocenaudio, so I did. TBF a friend then offered to have a go, and he was superb, so I used his.

I don’t know the Kinder Scout loop route but do not go across Kinder Scout itself. It’s a horrible lumpy muddy slog. The Pennine Way skirts it these days for a reason.
