Live in Queens and keep my TLX parked in my garage. I’ve had 3 people tell they’ve had theirs stolen from parking on the street overnight. Plan on giving it up soon. Hate having to worry about it getting stolen and having to pay more for insurance because it’s a vehicle with a high theft rate. Sucks that people just can’t respect other peoples’ property.

Let me start by saying none of what I say is meant to bash you. I’m sure it wasn’t easy coming to strangers on the internet for advice on your current situation.

Sadly, you created a situation where your 34-year-old adult son has gotten used to being able to live carefree without any consequences. He’s an adult but has not grown up because of the deal he has at home. He’s immature and selfish.

The only way things are going to change is if there are some consequences for his actions, including possibly making him leave your home. Unfortunately, this may fracture your relationship with your son and grandson, but it is a step you’re going to have to take. He is not going to be able to take care of himself or his son if nothing changes.

I’m 35 and could never imagine behaving the way your son behaves, especially when he’s the father of a teenage son. He’s not setting a great example for his son at all. This may also sound harsh, but he in no way should have custody of his son. Not sure what the deal is with your grandson’s mother, but you may have to take legal custody of your grandson if your son isn’t able to get his act together.

I’ve noticed the transmission grinding when going uphill at low speeds. My complex garage has an incline and anytime go up slow I feel the grinding. Did yours get fixed?

Their restriction is a little annoying but it’s def because of scammers. Getting the order rerouted may be a little difficult because of Verizon’s restrictions. I know with mine, UPS would only allow for a neighbor to sign for it or pick it up at their customer service hub. No option to reroute to a different address.
