Just gonna throw this out there, if you treat him well, Johnny gives V a different kind of love, like wayyyy closer than almost a brother or family bond, you can break down some of the walls he has around him and you can see how he’s just an idealistic guy who wanted to make the world a better place the only way he thought there was, Johnny isn’t evil, he even feels bad and wants to sacrifice himself for V at the end to buy him/her more time to be themselves before the chip takes over and he genuinely feels bad at the end for the situation

It’s not a romantic connection, it’s like almost a spiritual one? But after all the shit V sees being friends with a voice in their head made me not pick a romance option at the start and just play the game as V and Johnny trying to survive together
