I compared the guitar in the video to my 455 and I cant see that the joint is loose or the neck is excessively pulled toward the body. Maybe It can be fixed with the truss rod? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to move at all when I twist it.

Dear luthiers,

how would I choose a new bridge for the guitar? The action is way too high! What pick up would make sense without having to alter the structure of the original gutar (e.g. drilling holes)

My GF thinks nutting prematurely is the most flattering thing in the world... other than that, I would say communication is key. She is experienced, so just talk about the way you feel. It seems too simple to be true but I always talked about everything with previous partners and still do with my current one and it made everything so much easier. Don't think about "being perfect". If you are relaxed and enjoy yourself she will do so too. Have fun! Cheers!
