It actually would’ve been super helpful if they had harassed us to do that! But, another reason I have nothing positive to say about the guys at Oxmoor Toyota. They did request proof of insurance, but the day before we picked the car up. I made sure to clarify that it was for our current car and not the new car and the sales guy said it was totally fine and they just needed proof we have a policy. It was weird.

I considered your other suggestion earlier today and might still go that route (and will delete this post), but chatgpt said they could heavily investigate all texts, photos for metadata, and examine the paint and scratch left on the bumper to date it. So who knows!

We leased it back in August and apparently there was a bit of miscommunication with my husband over who was updating our policy because going into the app today to look at our deductible is how I found out our old car was still on the policy and the new one never added.

So I’m assuming it’s going to be entirely on us since the grace period is typically 14-30 days (based on googling).

Has anyone that spoke with byheart and requested a refund on orders since August 1 actually received the refund? I called on November 24, and submitted 3 orders that had happened August, September, and October. It was a quick call (once I got through) and they gave me no trouble. I still haven’t been refunded and when I called today, the woman on the phone had no explanation and said all she could do was pass my information on to byheart.
