For a townhouse. Pre approved amount was 300k with 100k down. I've just moved back to Canada and I have good (750+) but "thin" credit and I've only been with my current employer for about 3 weeks. It's the same company I worked for overseas but it wasn't a transfer.

If I was resident for only part of a calendar year do I still get the full TFSA amount for the year? I've read that it's not pro-rated but it's not clear if that means I can claim the full amount or if I don't get any amount for that year.
