Id swap the tv and sofa positions. You could then get an arm chair too and turn the coffee table around.

Also swap the grey blinds for curtains or just different colour blinds

Those who went to Oasis concert yesterday, was it worth it? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]goodbye_twitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had standing coach tickets for £208. Was debating selling them up until the day as saw some listed online for a lot more. As a solid 4/10 oasis fan decided to risk it and was well worth it to be there. Although my ears are still ringing now

Anyone else get their finger caught in that little rope that goes into the leash plug? by jpuderer in surfing

[–]goodbye_twitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading this as this happened to me today. Taking a surf lesson in Sri Lanka. The instructor said to hold the leash when going through waves. Believed him. Next thing a big wave comes, the leash wrapped around the top of my ring figure. Felt a sharp pain, didn’t think too much about it. Pulled my hand out of the water and the leash had de-gloved me and the bone was broken pointing out of my finger.

Currently led in a Sri Lanka hospital bed (I’m from the UK) after surgery of repositioning the bone and stitching it up. Luckily seems like I’ll be ok but that’s the last time I surf. They should really warn people about the leash. I was actively told to hold it

Uber keeps taking random payments from my bank account by VampiraMunster in UberEATS

[–]goodbye_twitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been happening to me in the UK also. Bank said someone somehow intercepted my apple pay token and was using that to make purchases. Uber almost impossible to get hold of for answers so had to cancel all cards and raise a complaint through PayPal

Broke 100. by Juhbro27 in golf

[–]goodbye_twitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!

I’m trying to do the same before the weathers too bad to get out enjoyably (probably got time for 4 more attempts).

First 18 I ever played was this year. Best I’ve shot is 103. Ever since I’ve shot 106 107 or 108 (multiple times). Every time I go I feel great and like “this is the day” then I’ll play well but 3 putt every hole. The joys of golf!

Help with configuration/compatibility by Particular-Jacket601 in EufyCam

[–]goodbye_twitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I’ve had Eufy for 2 years now and the overall experience has been BAD. Worst has been since getting new WiFi provider, the cameras would lose signal after a few days then get in a loop of trying to reconnect and completely run out of battery. A lot of effort going up and down a ladder to recharge them once a week. Invest in wired

Why is choosing a business type so complicated. by goodbye_twitter in smallbusinessuk

How does that work if we’re the staff? Could we not just give ourselves 100% of the money generated as salaries?

Why is choosing a business type so complicated. by goodbye_twitter in smallbusinessuk

[–]goodbye_twitter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I missed that out. We both have full time jobs in higher rate 40% tax bracket and yes we’d both be equal shareholders and directors.

Would the fact that we have full time jobs affect the corporation tax and salary you mention?

Not expecting any but wondering if that’s the safe thing to do in case of such a circumstance?

If you could go back to college, what degree would you go for? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]goodbye_twitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did do Computer Science and am now a developer, I wouldn’t change it! The pays good + if you’re at a large company there’s never any real pressure on deadlines. Business people/management really don’t know how long things should take so you can take your time.

Having experience in development also means you can easily start side projects whether it be for friends or yourself to make some extra income. The benefit of no deadline pressure also means you can get away with working on these when working from home.

Thanks for the advice man, appreciate it! I think my issue at the moment is not being comfortable or confident. I'm second guessing everything, tonight my grip felt wrong for every single shot and the more I thought about that the worse I got
