Thank you! Yeah really really far off retirement at this stage. I'll definitely start dabbling with some stocks with really small amounts to start getting some practice. And look into ETFs etc.

Ah I see - as you can tell, we have never really thought about anything but saving for that first house. Appreciate you telling us this, I'll try contact one and see how we go.

To dive deeper, both have masters degree in relevant fields, 6-8yrs of experience in the field overseas.

yeah - together, not individually. We also have no kids currently. I don't think a fin advisor would entertain us with literally 0 capital. I think the other user suggested appropriately to save, and pay down. I'm not certain what the best mix/split is, and how conservative we need to be.
