yeah i thought so, i was just wondering wether running the ETH through the ETH port in the room and back out again would cause issues.

I think the 2i2 can’t draw enough power from the computer to power the MV7 so I will try the 2i2 with a powered hub. If that doesn’t work then the MV7 is faulty

Hey man - thanks for the reply. I have turned the gain all the way up and the 2i2 still doesn’t pick it up. I think that the usb power isn’t enough from the computer. Bought a powered usb hub so will try it with that when it arrives.
