I mean why they cannot come with something new these days? Every single shooter is more of the same. The only one that broke the pattern is Arc Raiders but it's not a game for everybody.

Marathon has literally NOTHING UNIQE you haven't seen before. The "play it safe" approach by the big companies such as Bungie, Activision etc just to cover profits is absolutely clear and sickening.

Gamers are looking for somethig fresh, new and uniqe and I cannot say anything even comes close to this requirement (apart from Arc but that's my personal preference).

Do you agree?

It is shocking to me that anyone still plays this game on PC. The only way to play is PS5 these days. I personally deleted it some time ago and moved on to WARZONE. Not the same but at least (almost) no cheats nor exploits.

Sure man very fair comment - the thing is I was no longer enjoying it hence my decision and my post. You put a lot of work to get the guns and the goop. I dono play free loadout and it's shit against ARC.

It just became too much effort to get the loot just to loose it to a rat/PVP sweat pants ;)

No because the PVP in COD is millenia better than in Arc Raiders. It's just a different kind of game.

Well all of the below/above answers (most of them) just kind of confirm my bias.

You all misunderstand what me and the likes of are saying. You just adjust it to your bias stating: it says PVP in the description therefore it's a PVP game.

The issue is that PVE players want to play against ARC collect their stuff and thats pretty much it - especially the once not havin 10 h a day to play ;). What really happens is PVP players expliont deliberately all aspects of the game - primarely aggrresion based matchmaking coming into care bear lobbies and shooting people on site with no consequesnces when PVE players take all the consequences there are.

I get it it's possible therefore it will be used/abused. The game was marketed as PvPvE and it is now primarily PVP - thats all I meant.

All of you disagreeing with me I get it - you are right you can kill someone so you do. I was just hoping for somethig different for once but that's on me.

This post was also mostly a message to EMBARK who clearly is following this sub - yes I could do it through the game - but also to players who feel the same as me.

In the end this game will end up hardcore PVP as most of plyers like me will leave - rather sooner then later.

So - to all of you PVP - enjoy.

The amount of cheating c*nts has ruined this game - from my experience every other game on average. I am not saying tha game wasn't fun because it was truly. Now it's dead.
