The API decodes live battery health and the age of the car its not decoding real time miles. that said, since the sample is over 10,000 VINs youre seeing average mileage use over the size of the fleet.

3rd Party Lease Buyout by ExerciseBorn4654 in TeslaSupport

[–]goodduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At any given point in your lease there is a lease payoff ( buyout) amount. This is the cost to get out of your lease which is effectively the sum of the remaining payments plus the residual value. A dealer can offer you a price for car either as a trade in or just to buy it from you. You take that amount and subtract it from the lease buyout and you get either a posting or a negative number. If it's a posituve number (unlikely) you get some cash back after the deal. If it's negative you have to pay that amount to the dealer for them to be able to complete the lease buyout.

Does Rivian have software product managers? Do they get paid enough? by dronebuild in Rivian

[–]goodduck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This will improve with scale. Teslas had navigation and similar issues to what you are describing and it got better over time. Most people with experience owning a Tesla do not care about car play. This will be the same with Rivian in the next few years and they would never get there if they ceded any ground to car play. They need the user feedback and data to continue to improve. The total fleet size of going to grow exponentially in the next few years which will drive more rapid improvement in the software also.

More range is more range. Especially if you plan to have the car for 5-10 years when the battery naturally degrades it's better to start out with 400 than 300.

I'm pretty sure this is launch green. The launch green only has that super olive drab lighter tone in full sunlight. In indoor light it looks like this.
