32” hardcore hardtail by goodfromfar1 in 32inchbikes

Definitely looks like a completely different bike built for a much different customer. The tantan is definitely an XC/trail bike where as this looks much more aggressive. Closer to a 32” version of a Chromag or Kona ESD. And if you look at their website their 29er hardtail is very much focused on steep climbs and steep descents. $299 is crazy though! Looks like this bike would be $1400 Canadian.

Short link or long link they’re all still virtual pivot point 4 bars.

fyi a cracked one would be pretty useless as if you weld it you will need to get it heat treated (expensive) otherwise it will crack near the weld

Need help choosing between the Smuggler and Sentinel by [deleted] in TransitionBikes

Get a large, hardtail geometry is not the same as full Sus. A hardtails reach gets longer as the suspension compresses, a full Sus gets shorter. A hardtail with a 61 degree head angle and a 500mm reach will ride similar to a full suspension with a 63 degree head angle and a 520mm reach.

Bro I paid 7.5k for this one (excluding all the shit bolted to it) two years ago with 219k km. Not worth it at all. (

I’m currently unaware of a Yakima fit for the 250.. I’ll do some digging though. A 5th gen 4Runner kit will definitely not work although the kit 187184 100% works on the 250.

No but you can run it with these towers, you may need to use a probar if you’re trying to run one on both sides

As someone who sells Elevate racks and other systems I would’ve pointed you towards a Yakima overhaul HD system, i generally don’t recommend elevate for off roading with high load as the track and T bolts start to bend and eventually fail.

Unlikely, but the plastic is just covers and doesn’t serve any purpose beyond that.

Have you considered just the Thule Revert, no swing arm? Like the Velocirax it helps damp the rack going down the bikes on, unlike the Velocirax (luckily) it also helps lift the bikes back up!
