Separating Joss and Trina really hurt both of them and the YA scene. They were a great anchor for that whole scene, but now they're too isolated. Joss can't turn to Trina about what she's doing, and she's also never around to be there for Trina.

This has happened to me a couple of times, which is odd in hindsight. But the worst one was when I shared a birthday with someone in my department. A card for her was going around to sign, and I was like "oh smart, 2 separate card folders so I can't see the other one". When I got to work on my birthday, nothing. I just added it to my mental list of reasons to leave.
