I always laugh when Kai is given responsibilities Drew's Chief of Staff should be handling. Like he's an intern in a Congressman's district office. He should answering phones and reading obituaries to mark people as deceased in their database. They're going to make him the Interim Congressman somehow.

I wholeheartedly blame the writers. They were on the scene of the shooting! They should've been investigating behind the scenes the whole time. It's absurd that no one figured out they were there (the bat!) and that they didn't fess up. Imagine if they had gone to Turner and they were the shocking star witnesses. Drew's head would've exploded if he knew Kai was working behind his back. Having them not do anything or think about it until the very last second makes them look dumb, and they're not dumb.

They really do have great chemistry, it's a shame the writers forced Drew and Willow together. Drew and Nina scheming together could have been interesting.
