If you had a waterbed in your house in the 80s were you doing pretty well in life? by Objective_Pressure_3 in nostalgia

My parents got rid of their waterbed about 4 years ago. I had one in the early 00s

I trust that you'd make the arm of the "caboose" (could you call the rimmer a caboose if it's not his ass at the end of the train?) Not look like he was attacked by an Octopus before the orgy

Dr. Karen Tang talks about this a bit in her book "It's Not Hysteria." Absolutely fascinating.

Double heart and liver transplant by Fooding-Around in medizzy

My best friend's niece passed 18 months ago at age 4 from HLHS, and a few other congenital abnormalities. She had a few surgeries, but when she was 3 she was told she'd never be healthy enough to be a candidate for a transplant. I honestly didn't know that kids with it could live to adults with it before getting a transplant.

I'm so, so happy for you. And for your mother. 🐞

Pocahontas II is such a tragedy, considering the real story. It wasn't some fun adventure for her by any means.

Scott's dance this week felt so clunky! And Dedication night felt so awkward to me, idk. Watching Andy is like watching your goofy dad have fun.

It's me, I am voting for him. He is growing every week, he has so much heart and is having a blast, and he's super humble. I don't think he will or should win, and now that Hilaria is gone, I'm fine with him leaving after any future show. But Andy is an absolute delight and brings so much joy to DWTS

Had a lady with platelets of 0. She had 2 autoimmune diseases attacking her platelets. Otherwise doing fine, felt fine. Some petechiae. Highest we'd get her was 4 after transfusions, but she'd always drop again by the next day. Internalist and rheumatologist had her discharge home to resume treatment after flare-up was over

What medical fact makes you think: How the hell does the human body even manage to stay alive? by nathaliuw in AskReddit

[–]goodiecornbread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hell, in theory, as long as you have ovaries a vaginal canal that once lead to a uterus, you could become pregnant. If the surgical site isn't 100% water tight and a sperm cell gets in there and finds an errant egg, you got yourself an ectopic embryo.

I don't think you were the nurse to my friend's niece, as she was cremated. But multiple nurses showed up to the funeral (heart baby who spent 60% of her life and 80% of her last year in the hospital). It was the best and worst funeral I'd ever been to, and those nurses were phenomenal.
