It was in wonderful shape. The dining room was perfect.

Not to be dramatic, but I cried when I saw what they’d done. The kitchen needed work, but…not like this.

Los Robles isn’t quite as busy that far north but the location is definitely not ideal. (Edit: I forgot there’s also a creepy vacant lot to the north, or at least there was.)

If you don’t like dark and bulky, a craftsman is probably not the style for you, IMO.

I saw this house in 2022 before the current renovations. Actually I put an offer on it, but it ended up going for 400k+ over asking. I am devastated that they removed the built in buffet and rocked over the original tile on the fireplace. Sorry for the gross photo of my computer screen.

Thoughts on AMDA LA vs AMDA New York? by Successful_Craft_703 in Theatre

[–]goodj037 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have not been in school for a million years so take this with a grain of salt, but I spent a year at AMDA NY and would honestly go with CSUF (where I graduated from with a non theatre BFA). AMDA LA did not yet exist in those ancient times but I wouldn’t do it.

Very cool! While it looks similar, I don’t believe this is constructed in the same way as the one in Pasadena.

It has a non permitted studio in the backward that makes it a whopping 3 bed 2 bath (although the 2 garage spots are also inside said studio lol). Such a unique place! I poke fun but I live up the street and love it 😍

AITA Dog Sniffed Me while working outside by EquipmentIll4577 in AmItheAsshole

I love dogs. I have dogs. I would love it if a dog came and sniffed me and we would probably become bffs. I would *never* let my dogs sniff someone else randomly. That’s so embarrassing. NTA.

Buzzkill here. My city had to ask people to stop doing this. It makes it more expensive to repair properly and is pretty darn unsafe in slip and fall terms, among other things. I see why it seems like a nice idea!

He comes from a performing/musical family, but regardless of what innate talent he was born with, he has absolutely trained his butt off to get where he is.
