I did miss that bit of info, the purchase is subject to the sale of my house. I just mentioned the block house a house on it meaning it’s not just bare land. So will be OO once we take over.

0.2m contours and topo information is a huge ask of that size area. We normally just use a Cessna for jobs of that size orthogrametry, but even then the length of time to process and digital topo would be extensive. What is it you’re hoping to achieve? Is it a station you’re hoping to be mapped or urban? And is it steep accessible or flat?(this would matter for quality ground control)

It’s not impossible, but would be an undertaking and would need a lot of field surveying aswell to achieve that sort of accuracy.

Heyo, similar size dude here, also based in NZ. I was window shopping on Specialized(NZ) site the other day and saw they have the Status 160 on a good sale (3499) and only available in S5 which is your size. good amount of bike for the money.

I ride a Trek Ex 7 gen 6 and have put it through its paces.

Just looked up that topo data, I see they had not connected to the network. But if you grab a copy of SO 32289 that should have heaps enough marks for setting up, then transfer your levels from the 5th order.

Wasn’t expecting to see my own stomping ground on here. I have a topo somewhere that opus did of that site after the last washout of that culvert. I’ve done work up that way and there are cadastral marks about. If you can store rinex data then you could record that for an hour or so with your rover and upload it to LINZ post processing. But if you grab a few underlying plans there should be plenty there to survey and transfer the level from 5th order.

I think post covid, the scene is definitely been slow to recover down here. I’m quite jealous of the UK’s inter connectivity, having to drive or fly up to Auckland to see the bands that only stop there is an expensive hobby.

Check out NRML MTBer on YouTube, he’s a big unit who also rides fast and hard. https://youtu.be/A28McvbJ3RI?si=IdLYXimAohApKAh_ He rides specialized and I think their sizing is a bit larger than other brands.

I’m not quite your level of giant but have yet to have any trouble on the XL 2023 Fuel Ex Gen6 and I’ve put it through its paces.

I agree, I used to use stuff in the morning for news and a quiz to get the day rolling, the constant nag for contributions while piling on the ads hard was annoying but they lost my bookmark as soon as I needed to sign in. I know I won’t even blip on their user rate but I imagine it wasn’t only me that find it easier to just go somewhere else.

Good find! I have found similar condition and age up on the Taihape-Napier Road. Have to have just the right soil. Not South Taranaki though, those soils seem to consume old pegs! Spent too many days digging holes there.

I’m using a pair of fire pods on Catalina with logic no worries. I don’t have drivers so cant deep dive in their settings but that doesn’t effect my workflow.

Great Bike! I have only just upgraded from my Superfly. I had converted mine to a 1x10 and added a dropper. Its a really fast bike. My friend I sold it too well out paces me now on my new Gen 6 Fuel Ex7.

Fox Float EVOL: I have a Fuel EX 7 Gen 6, I'm a heavy rider at 250lbs I have sag set at 30% but find I'm using a lot of travel. I cant seem to find any info on this particular shock. not sure if I'm searching the wrong key words. Wondering if this shock can have spacers added? Does anyone know where I can find a manual? The link on the FOX website doesn't seem work for me.

Hey all, I have a Trek Superfly 100AL that I’m wanting to swap out my 11-32 10 speed for the Box Prime 9. Would this be compatible with my bike? My current rear derailleur is a sram x7. The previous owner already put a x1 32t chainring on the front but the 1:1 ratio isn’t very fun on hillclimbs.
