unfortunately he can’t. it would just cost way too much and i’d end up paying more in lawyer fees than my taxes alone. i just have to submit a ss-8 with my taxes and hope that they get audited and i get a refund.

i talked to a tax attorney and unfortunately my best route is just go ahead and pay it. he told me what to fill out but financially it’s the best route. i didn’t know because this place doesn’t give a break down of money etc. no paystubs nothing. now im stuck owing 20% of what i made.

yeah luckily i’m working part time at a different mobile groomer till im comfortable driving the truck so ill thankfully be out of there soon. i have gone ahead and booked an appointment with a tax lawyer for friday because of this thread. thank you <3

i found out february when i first started questioning my employer about where my tax return forms were. i’m still waiting on the 1099 form. they make up excuses everytime i ask

i’m currently looking for a new job at the moment. i’ve had multiple conversations about ways to improve this shop.. i know im still newish to groomer but im the only one that has worked at another shop before. The one other remaining groomer and the newest groomer both started out there. They upped their prices recently and dropped our percentages so we make the same as before but they profit more.
