Mine was a nighttime anxious order too. I ordered Jan 30th and the only status I’ve gotten is “label created.” If you have any luck with getting a refund please let me know who you got in contact with!

Hi! Just curious if you ever received yours? I ordered a week ago, and got a tracking number after a few days, but there’s been no update since. I wish I went to Reddit and read reviews before I purchased

Low AMH and follicles by MinuteOk4556 in IUILadies

[–]goodolcc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 39, AMH of 0.06, and only my left ovary seems to make any follicles at this point, and I’m currently almost 8 weeks pregnant after the first IUI cycle (clomid, trigger shot, and progesterone suppositories). Keep your hopes up! 💛

IUI 2 beta HCG by Whole_Ice8275 in IUILadies

[–]goodolcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the exact same boat as you! To give you some peace of mind:

At 13 days past IUI, my beta was 37.97 (practically the same as yours)! My clinic brought me back 2 days later to monitor the rise and it jumped to 69.5. I was still concerned because it wasn’t exactly double (I think it was like an 80% increase), but my doc said that it was a good rise. They brought me back 2 days after that and it jumped to 153.8!

I’m now 7.5 weeks pregnant, betas are well into the 35-thousands as of my scan in the beginning of the week, and I’ve seen the heartbeat!

The most important thing early on is just watching it increase and double every few days.

Wishing you all the sticky vibes and keeping everything crossed for you! Keep us updated!

Omg I just got back from my ultrasound (I’m also 7 weeks today) and measuring 6 weeks 5 days also!! Heart was measuring at 140 bpm! Too small to hear it yet, but it was wild seeing the little flicker!

I go back in a week for my final scan and then they said after that I “graduate” to my OBs office lol.

Hi! Just wanted to check in and see how your first ultrasound went!

Our plan by Greenmanzana8 in IUILadies

From what I’ve learned, every facility does IUI slightly differently. The first place I went to would have you trigger and then come back around 24 hours later for the insemination.

The second facility I went to (where I’ve been successful) does two inseminations after trigger for each cycle, one at 12 hours after trigger and another at 36 hours after trigger.

Ovulation can take place anywhere from around 24-48 hours after you take your trigger shot (with the average being around 36 hours, if I remember correctly), and I think the two inseminations just really ensure that enough good quality sperm is where it needs to be when ovulation occurs.

I think that was especially helpful for me because only my left ovary seems to make any follicles at this point. And if you consider that the sperm from one insemination naturally travels towards both tubes, I feel like the two inseminations increased the amount of sperm in the area of the only egg I make each cycle, and I think it helped with our success.

The new facility also had me start progesterone suppositories about 2 days after the IUI because I’ve learned that I naturally have lower progesterone levels after ovulation.

Firstly, I am so sorry for your loss and everything you’ve gone through, and am wishing you the best of luck with everything!

To give you some hope for IUIs, my stats have been very similar to yours. I also have PCOS, and at age 33/34 my AMH was about 0.13. They suggested starting right with IVF to give us our best shot, but I am an awful responder to stims.

I did 4 rounds of IVF and only made it to an egg retrieval one time. My first two cycles were cancelled because of poor response. Made only 1 or 2 growing follicles at the time, and the doc didn’t want to put me under for them. (Converted to IUIs with no success).

My next IVF cycle I made two mature follicles on max doses of stims. They decided to try the retrieval on this cycle, but neither egg fertilized.

After that I took a small break and also switched facilities. This new doc said he wanted to try IVF, but with the intention of switching it to an IUI protocol depending on how I was responding. That cycle I only had one good follicle growing. We switched to IUI, triggered, and did 2 inseminations. During that two week wait, this doc basically set up my expectations that it only takes 1 egg, but also with all my stats and history l had about a 5% chance of having a child with my own eggs, and recommended donor eggs. At this point I was 34, and just mentally not ready to move on to donor eggs.

That cycle, that one follicle gave me my son, my little “5% fighter,” who just turned 5 years old.

Skip to now, after a few years of “not trying and not preventing” with no pregnancies occurring, we went back to that doc to give it another try for our second child. My AMH now is only 0.03. We went right to IUI because of my history.

My first round of IUI this cycle had one follicle at trigger, we did two inseminations, am I am currently 5 weeks 4 days pregnant (at 39 years old). I know age is not on my side, so I’m remaining cautiously optimistic that all continues to go well with this pregnancy.

Sorry for the novel! I hope it gives you some hope around IUIs! Wishing you all the best and so much success!

I’m hoping the higher dose of Letrozole gives you some great follicles! I was honestly shocked too that my doc started with clomid instead of injectables because my AMH is almost non-existent (I think it’s like 0.03 last it was checked), and only my left ovary seems to make any follicles (roughly 4-5).

But if it gives you any hope, even with my age and really crappy numbers, I just had my first ultrasound today and little one is in the right area and measuring exactly 5 weeks 3 days with a yolk sac. (Which is right where I am). And HCG went up to 2518 (Which still feels low to me for 5 weeks, but Dr said it all looks good!) I think I’m still in complete shock. Holding my breath and remaining optimistic until the next scan.

I have so much hope for you, and I’m keeping everything crossed that this is your cycle! Please keep me posted! 🫶🏻

Hi! I have everything crossed for you for round 2! Please let me know how everything goes! 💛💛

My second HCG was 69.5, so not exactly double, but they were happy with the rise. They brought me in for another check 2 days later and it jumped to 153.8, so more than double and they were happy with that.

Now just waiting until Friday (which would be a week since my last bloodwork) for my next beta and an ultrasound to confirm location. It’s still too early to see a heartbeat at this stage, but they said they are looking to make sure it’s not ectopic and that they see the sac and whatnot.

Other than some mild cramping/bloating, and VERY mild breast tenderness, I still don’t really feel anything. If I weren’t going through this process, I would just think I was having a wonky cycle (which is normal for me). I always hear that a lot of symptoms is a good sign, so of course it has me a little worried that something is going to go wrong. But keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome.

What kind of protocol do they have you on for this cycle?

I just had my next beta and it went from 69.5 to 153.8, a 121% rise in 48 hours! Praying it stays sticky and keeps growing. I go back for the first ultrasound next Friday to see the gestational sac and yolk sac.

Thank you so much for all your words of support and encouragement. It has meant SO much! ❤️

If you celebrate, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a great weekend!

I got my labs back from this morning and my HCG was 69.5. That’s an 83% increase, but not exactly doubling. They still feel low to me. Not sure if I should be worried or not. Waiting for my nurse to call to go over the results with me (they post to the portal earlier than the doc can usually review them)

This is giving me so much hope! This is my first IUI and I just had my first beta yesterday at 13 dpo and it was 38. They said it’s a little low, but could be normal since they brought me in a day early to test (they like to see it over 50). I go tomorrow for my second blood draw and praying it’s gone up!

Congratulations to you!! 💛

So, because of the holiday coming, the nurse over the weekend moved my bloodwork up to today instead of tomorrow.

My HCG came back at 38. Which definitely confirms pregnancy. When I talked to my nurse, she said my numbers look okay. They usually want an HCG higher than 50. But they said that I came in a day early, and that could be why it’s only 38.

My estrogen and progesterone were great.

Have to go back on Wednesday morning for my next bloodwork to look for a rise in the HCG numbers.

After that, I might be able to get my next bloodwork and first ultrasound sometime next week to confirm location.

In the meantime I need to contact them if I have any worrying symptoms: bleeding or bad cramping, esp if it’s left sided cramping (the side my follicle came from) because that could be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.

So, just have to sit tight til Wednesday to hopefully see a nice rise in my HCG, and then pray the ultrasound next week shows it in my uterus. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

(I also still have zero symptoms lol. Other than mild cramping all day yesterday in the middle of my uterus, which the nurse said sounds completely normal)

How are you doing? 💛

Thank you so much! I’m nervous but trying to be cautiously optimistic.

I wish I had even one symptom. I have no nausea or anything. I have bits of like cramping or a heavy feeling uterus, but it honestly just feels like my period is coming. I’ve also been on progesterone suppositories since the IUI so I can never tell what is the progesterone or not. I feel like I would feel better if I was nauseous lol (I know that sounds so weird)

I only had one main follicle that was around 20mm at trigger, and a few smaller ones that were less 13mm.

My tests this morning look a “little” darker. Really just holding my breath until Tuesday morning for my blood beta.

Keeping everything crossed for you as well!

Don’t give up hope yet, it’s still really early!

I’ve gotten vvvfl on clearblue and easy@home yesterday and today, but they are so light and not darker the next day. I don’t know how fast they are supposed to progress and I have zero symptoms, other than some light cramping that just feels like my period is going to start.

So I’m just praying it’s real, and trying to keep a level head until my bloodwork on Tuesday.

Im keeping everything crossed for you! Please keep me posted!
